Meet the Team

  • Robin Rakovchik, M.S., OTR/L

    OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST/FOUNDER

Hi, I’m Robin, the founder of My Foundations. I’m a pediatric occupational therapist with over 18 years of experience helping children reach their fullest potential through individualized, sensory-integrative, and play-based approaches.

I created My Foundations to provide a nurturing, relationship-based environment where children can thrive socially, emotionally, and functionally. I use the DIR framework, sensory integration principles, and conscious discipline techniques to foster growth, confidence, and a love of learning.

I’m a proud mom of two sweet and curious boys, Eli (7) and Andrew (5), and I love traveling, cooking, and spending time outdoors with my husband, Igor, and our family. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in occupational therapy from Texas Woman’s University, and I’m excited to partner with families to help children grow and succeed.

  • Fran Golman, M.A.

    CLASSROOM FACILITATOR

Hi, I’m Fran, and I’m excited to get to know you and your children as their classroom facilitator! I have a special passion for supporting children with diverse needs, and I earned my certification to teach Early Childhood Education through Texas Teaching Fellows. I’m also a certified Life Coach and Grief Coach, focusing on helping individuals discover their hidden potential.

I grew up in Dallas after being born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and I have two children, Brianna (15) and Greyson (12), with my husband of 17 years. We love going to the dog park with our two dogs, Cassidy and Zona, trying new foods, traveling, and enjoying movies and time with friends and family.

My favorite color is green, and I’m a big fan of seafood. I can’t wait to connect with your children and support their growth, learning, and love of play!

    Juliet Smith

    CLASSROOM FACILITATOR

Hi, I’m Juliet! My passion is helping children grow, learn, and feel confident in themselves. I love getting to know each child individually, understanding their needs, and creating an environment where they feel safe, supported, and cared for. I’m the oldest of four siblings, who are truly my pride and joy, and I’ve spent much of my childhood helping care for them and being a big sister.

I’m currently a senior in online high school, and I hope to become a teacher or occupational therapist after I graduate. I’ve always loved school and learning, and I enjoy learning just as much as I enjoy helping others learn. I’m especially excited to gain experience working with children and to continue learning how to help each child reach their fullest potential.

I grew up in Grand Prairie and Dallas, TX, before moving to Plano with my dad when I was 10. Outside of school and work, one of my biggest loves is animals. I’ve rescued many animals over the years, and I currently have two dogs, two cats, and a bearded dragon, who is definitely my favorite! I also love spending my free time with my family and boyfriend.

A few of my favorite things are tamales and ramen, and while I love all colors, pink and blue are my favorites. I can’t wait to get to know each child and be someone they can feel comfortable with, while helping them learn, grow, and become the best version of themselves!

Our mission is to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment. We believe that every child’s learning journey should honor their unique strengths and needs. Through small class sizes, purposeful play, and evidence-based teaching strategies, we equip students with the foundational skills they need to thrive-both in their development and in life.

There is no greater feeling than being understood.
