FAQs

  • Although we encourage consistency for children in order to progress and thrive, we understand every family has different needs. We are able to accommodate alternate days based on interest and availability!

We make sure to stay in constant communication about if/when we feel that your child would benefit from adjusting their schedule.

    Flexible Schedule Options include:

🗓️4.5-Day Program - Full-week option with Friday as a half day, designed to support consistency, routine, and continued growth.

🗓️3-Day Program - Balanced schedule with structured learning

🗓️ 2-Day Program - Great for gradual transition and flexibility

  • Yes! Half-day hours are 8:30 AM-12:00 PM. If you feel your child would benefit from starting with half days only, we offer this as an option. A snack will be provided during that time; however, lunch will not be part of the program.

We make sure to stay in constant communication about if/when we feel that your child would benefit from adjusting their schedule.

  • We follow a standard Monday–Thursday schedule from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with Fridays offered as a half day from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. We’re always happy to talk further to better understand your specific needs if you require flexibility.

The program will operate on a 10-month schedule, with the addition of optional summer programming designed to continue therapeutic progress in a fun and engaging format.

  • We want to ensure that we are a good fit for your family. As a first step, we schedule a meet-and-greet day to give families the opportunity to determine whether our program feels like the right fit. This also allows our team time to get to know your child and thoughtfully evaluate whether we have the appropriate resources to support their individual needs.

All enrollment plans are based on the Plano ISD school year calendar and require a one-semester (five-month) commitment. If enrolling mid-year, there is a five-month commitment. After the one-semester or five-month commitment, enrollments may be cancelled with 30 days written notice.

  • Our program is designed for ages 4+. We are dedicated to growing with your child. As they grow, the program will work to accommodate their growing needs. This will be decided on a case-by-case basis to ensure a cohesive classroom experience.

  • Our program is designed to prioritize therapeutic goals, regulation, and social-emotional development rather than a traditional academic curriculum. We use evidence-based approaches such as DIR/Floortime, sensory integration, Handwriting Without Tears, and Conscious Discipline to support each child’s developmental needs.

When a child is ready, we can thoughtfully incorporate higher-level academic skills into their day. For families seeking more formal academics, we are also happy to discuss options such as online or at-home curriculum support to complement our program.

  • If your child still naps, we encourage you to do a part time plan. We can provide downtime and quiet time, but it is a lively environment and we cannot accommodate for naptime. We can work with you if they are transitioning away from naps.

  • Each family will pack their own lunch. However, we are able to provide snacks. We understand that some children may be picky eaters. We will work with you to understand what your child’s food preferences are and help to promote a variety of healthy/enjoyable food options. We are equipped with a refrigerator and a place to warm food if needed.

  • No worries! We are able to accommodate diaper changes. We will also work with you and your child when they are ready to potty train and facilitate independence with toileting, if that is your goal.
